Conditions of the workshop :
The meeting place is on the carpark at the entrance of the village of Rougon, at 08.30 AM.
The rate includes the photographic formation for every levels, from the beginners to the specialists.
Organization of the workshop :
– We will choose the most appropriated places for the pictures.
– We will learn how to work with the light.
– I will guide you in the choice of the material to use.
– We will learn the functioning of a digital camera, when to use a tripod, and the technical points to know for the
photography of the fauna.
During this day we will observe and take pictures of the Griffon vultures, and we can also sometimes watch Cinereous vultures, Egyptian vultures, and Snake eagles.
You will assist to incredible scenes of wildlife thanks to a privileged access to the place where the vultures reintroduced in the Gorges of Verdon in 1999 are fed by the LPO (Protection League for the Birds).
The second day, we will make pictures of the landscapes in Verdon and of the spectacular Verdon gorges.
Material :
– A digital camera with a lense from 70 mm to 600 mm.
– You can also have a wild angle lense for the photos of landscapes, but it is less adapted to the pictures of birds.
– Flexible remote control if you can, tripod, memory cards, batteries.
– Windy clothes, water, good shoes to walk...
